Before you begin

Prepare two files.

Use clear filenames that include your name and book title. Your cover can be submitted now or added later if it is not yet final.

Upload the complete book as one PDF, Microsoft Word DOC, or DOCX file.

Upload a clear front-cover image without screenshots, borders, or social-media graphics.

Optional • Up to 5 MB
01Your Copyright

You retain all copyright and ownership rights to your book and cover.

02Limited Permission

PIHBA may use the files only as needed to receive, evaluate, and administer your award entry.

03Secure Submission

Pay first, verify your private order code, upload accepted file types, and save your confirmation number.

Payment verification required

Purchase an award category before submitting your book.

Authors may not upload a manuscript or book cover until at least one PIHBA award category has been added to the cart and paid through secure checkout. After payment, enter your PIHBA category-order code and the same email address used at checkout.

Have you not purchased a category yet? Choose your award category or categories and complete checkout first.

Having trouble uploading?

Try these quick solutions.

  1. Check the file type.Manuscripts must be PDF, DOC, or DOCX. Covers must be JPG, PNG, WEBP, or PDF.
  2. Check the file size.If it is too large, save or export a smaller copy and upload again.
  3. Rename the file.Use a simple name such as Jane-Smith-Book-Title.pdf without symbols.
  4. Try a stable connection.Keep this page open until your confirmation number appears.
