A mother of three, Jennifer served in law enforcement for more than fourteen years. She earned her Master Peace Officer certification, specialized as a Sexual Assault and Family Violence Investigator, and holds a Master’s degree in Law Enforcement and Public Safety. In April 2026, she stepped away from her department to write and advocate full-time while keeping her peace-officer license active.
Her author journey began with The Adventures of Michael & Chepe, a children’s series inspired by her son’s bond with his plush horse. Her growing English- and Spanish-language catalog now speaks to children, families, survivors, and adults seeking healing and connection.
As a survivor of childhood trauma, Jennifer uses her platform to support victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. Her work has been featured by Televisa, KVIA ABC El Paso, El Diario de Juárez, and Telediario Monterrey.
